North Atlanta Water Treatment Facility

Design of this facility began in 1985. Five sepereate buildings were part of the original scope. In 2000 a new building was added and three of the original buildings were renovated as part of the stage 2.5 plant expansion. We provided design services for the original design as well as stage 2.5.
For stage 2.5 we completed additions to the Fresh Water Intake Building, added a conference room to the Administrative Building, refurbished the Solids Dewatering Building, and added a new Sludge Pump Building.
Both the original work and that of stage 2.5 were designed to fit into the residential surroundings. The peaked roofed buildings were clad in contrasting brick patterns to reduce the scale of the processing buildings.
